Westport offers beach and mountain trekking for experienced riders as well as short treks on quiet country roads for the less ambitious. Ballinrobe races, with its long-established tradition of racing in various forms, holds regular day and evening meetings throughout the summer and is a mere 35-minute drive from Westport.
