Gráinne Ale Craft Beer Festival 2019
May 4 - May 5Free
May 4 – May 5. Gracy’s Pizzeria & Bistro, Westport House.
Legend has it that Ireland’s famous Pirate Queen, Grace O’Malley was partial to a jug of ale while plundering the high seas. So to celebrate, every year, craft brewers, locals and visitors descend on Westport House to raise a glass to Mayo’s fiercest female.
Now in its 7th year, The Grainne Ale Craft Beer Festival takes place in one of Ireland’s best beer gardens, Gracy’s Pizzeria & Bistro, located in the farmyard of Westport House. This year, you can enjoy exceptional brews from; Mescan, Reel Deel, Longueville House and Black Donkey. For those of you not into beer, never fear, as you will also be able to sample some exceptional whiskeys from Sligo’s, Lough Gill Distillery and closer to home, Loch Measc Distillery’s mouth-watering vodka and gin.
There will be two days full of music, DJs, wood-fired pizzas and other mouth-watering bites to accompany the robust and flavoursome selections of beers, cider and spirits on offer. There’s no better way to spend the May Bank Holiday than raising a glass to the Pirate Queen herself, eh? Cheers!
May 4 – May 5: 1 PM – 10 PM
