Newport’s Wild2Wild Duathlon Wilderness Challenge 2019 takes place on Saturday, September 28. The run-and-bike event takes place along one of the most scenic routes in Ireland. Participants must complete a 2.5km run from the historic town of Newport along the Wild Atlantic way, followed by an 11km cycle into the Wild Nephin Wilderness Park. Then it’s a tough hill run on forest trail for 6.5km before cycling back to Newport and finishing off with a 2.5km run into the town.
