Sublime” says this year’s Guide.

Huge fans of Seamus Commons’ cooking, John & Sally McKenna’s respected guide goes on to describe him as being on a par with some of the world’s great chefs, and that he should be

“… sharing stages with Rene and Ferran … that is where Mr. Commons belongs: he is one of the great contemporary Irish talents, and the good news is that he continues to innovate, and continues to get better. The food in Knockranny has been pared back slightly, and is all the better for it: an unmissable destination.”

Regarding the hotel itself, the Bridgestone Guide is also full of praise. “Owners Adrian and Ger Noonan will have to build an extension to Knockranny House Hotel if they keep on collecting awards at the rate they have been hauling them in over the last two or three years.
