Join Tertulia on April 30th at 7.30pm for an evening with Carmel McMahon, author of the recently published "In Ordinary Time". The Tertulia Bookclub invites you to participate in an engaging discussion, along with a glass of wine or coffee, and a bit of philosophy too.

In her book, Carmel McMahon weaves together her own story of emigration to New York in the '80s, the loss of a child, and the ethereal connection to nature. She talks about the importance of the healing and restorative power of "in the intimate exchange of speaking and listening and being heard". Carmel's story follows our Celtic year from Imbolc through Bealtaine and Lughnasadh to Samhain, connecting individual stories to that of our history and collective consciousness.
