It was the first Westport pub to obtain a late licence and it holds late bars on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday night every week, year-round, with extra late nights on bank holidays and at Christmas. It is also Westport’s only multi-level bar which means that there are plenty of spaces for dancing, seating, parties and groups, or for a quieter drink.
Cosy Joe’s has become particularly renowned for its free entertainment with music in-house every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Live music includes cover bands, original music, themed nights and traditional performances. During the summer months, there are free live entertainment seven nights a week which includes Cosy Joe’s own live music and dance show ‘Celtic Nights’.
