Winter Wonderland Westport 2026: Dates, Tickets & What to Expect
Christmas magic is returning to Westport this November as Winter Wonderland at Westport Estate gets ready to welcome families for a brand-new festive experience.
This year, the much-loved Christmas event has been reimagined and relocated to a new setting within Westport Estate, creating one magical Christmas village filled with sparkling lights, festive food and drink, storytelling and plenty of seasonal surprises for the whole family.
A Reimagined Winter Wonderland
With exciting redevelopment works continuing across Westport Estate, Winter Wonderland will look a little different this Christmas. Westport House will not form part of the 2026 event, with the festive experience instead centered around the Farmyard area, home to Gracy's Pizzeria & Bistro, Ticketing and Westport Adventure.
Families can step into a Christmas village filled with festive attractions and experiences, including a journey aboard the Winter Wonderland Express, a Christmas carousel, Christmas markets and of course, a very special visit to Santa Claus in his Grotto.
Mrs Claus will also be waiting to share some festive stories, while seasonal food and drink will add to the Christmas atmosphere throughout the experience.
Meet Santa Claus
No Winter Wonderland visit would be complete without meeting the man himself!
Santa's Experience returns as one of the highlights of the day, giving families the opportunity to visit Santa in his Grotto as part of their festive adventure.
Winter Wonderland is always a popular date in the Westport Christmas calendar, so families are advised to plan ahead. Advance online booking is essential and the experience has sold out in previous years.
Sensory Santa
Westport Estate's annual Sensory Santa will take place on Wednesday, 2nd December from 4pm to 9.30pm.
Created especially for children with autism, sensory sensitivities or those who are more comfortable in a calmer environment, the experience will feature softer music, reduced numbers and individual family visits with Santa.
Families can still enjoy the Christmas Village, meet Mrs Claus and the Elves and soak up the festive atmosphere, but in a quieter and more relaxed setting.
Winter Wonderland 2026 Dates
Winter Wonderland opens on Saturday, 14th November and runs on selected dates throughout November and December, finishing on Wednesday, 23rd December.
Dates include:
- 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 27th, 28th & 29th November
- 2nd December – Sensory Santa
- 4th, 5th, 6th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 18th, 19th & 20th December
- 21st, 22nd & 23rd December
Opening times vary depending on the date selected, so visitors should check their chosen date when booking.
Ticket Information
Tickets for Winter Wonderland Reimagined 2026 are:
Adults: €19.50
Children: €39.50
Babies under 2 (0–23 months): €15.00
A €3 booking fee applies per booking.
Carers of people with disabilities can enter free of charge and do not need to be included when booking online.
