Saltwater Sessions Clew Bay is an end-of-summer ocean festival celebrating adventure, community and the Wild Atlantic Way. This paddleboarding event takes place at Old Head Beach, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo, and brings together elite SUP racing, beginner-friendly paddles, technical races and a full weekend of coastal activities.
From beach games and live music to food, sauna and family-friendly entertainment, there’s something for everyone – whether you’re competing, paddling for fun, or just soaking up the atmosphere. The event proudly supports Achill Island RNLI, with proceeds helping fund their lifesaving work.

We’re proud to announce Saltwater Sessions Clew Bay is fundraising for Achill Island RNLI. 50% of all competitor entry fees and all proceeds from the event will go directly to support the volunteers who work tirelessly to save lives at sea. Every Elite Race entry donates €10 directly to RNLI.
