The 2026 Westport Festival of Chamber Music will take place in Westport from the 10th - 13th September 2026.
Established in 2013, we are a boutique festival presenting the best in Chamber Music performed by the finest of musicians from Ireland and around the world.
What makes us rather special and sets us apart from most chamber music festivals is that our fifteen or so musicians stay in Westport for a week to work on their chosen pieces, eating meals together, rehearsing in and around the town, also in some of our patron's lovely homes. This encourages deep musical bonds and friendships that go beyond the performances we hear at the end of the week; it also creates a musical intimacy and allows for real spontaneity to occur on stage, after having spent a relaxed and quality time together.
We're at the post 2025 festival admin stage at the moment and there will be updates here soon.
Don't forget, our 2026 festival will take place from the 10th to the 13th of September.
