Inishbiggle (Inis Bigil, “island of the fasting”, in Irish) is an unspoilt and unique island, where life runs at a relaxed pace. Ferries run from the mainland and Achill Island, and the loop walks are popular with visitors.

Nephin is the second highest mountain in County Mayo and the 36th highest in Ireland. It dominates the local lanscape.

The Nephin Beg range dominates the skyline, looking north from Clew Bay. The Bangor Trail passes through the range, and the Letterkeen Loop is in its midst.

Perched above a Blue Flag beach and boating pier, Mulranny is a natural stop on the Great Western Greenway and overlooks Clew Bay, with the Nephin Beg range towering above it to the north.

Three Letterkeen Woods loop walks offer a mix of old droving paths, sandy river and lake-side roads, with spectacular mountain views on one of the loops.

Letterkeen Woods is one of the largest forest blocks in the country. Majestic conifers and views of the Nephin Beg range make a spectacular day out.

Cong Forest Nature Trail is 3.8Km long and a lovely walk steeped in history and nature. You will see forests with 100 year old trees, Cong Abby and the surrounding caves.

Mulranny has three loop walks. All three have sunstantial overlap and vary in distance. The Causeway walk is 6km, The Cushlecka Walk is 9km and the third and newest loop walk has an option of 4/6km and begins and ends at Mulranny beach.

Managed for recreational and commercial use, this lodgepole pine forest commands stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the lake below.
